Earth Hour !!!!

I am going to discuss about Earth Hour. Earth hour means when you save electricity by turning off the lights for at least an hour. The first place to start this was in Sydney, Australia on March 31 2007. After 2008 came at least 50 million people had contributed to “Earth Hour”. I learned about it in 2007 and listened all about it.

When I heard about earth hour it sounded like a good idea of saving electricity. Also, I watched a video about earth hour on www.earthhour.org which showed that turning off the lights for an hour can make a difference in the environment. You also follow the same to save electricity and global warming. What I mean by global warming is that we are saving the world from pollution, water rising, ice melting and etc. since global warming is a big issue , then turning off the for one hour is good enough for the world.

The earth hour is taking place on March 28, 2008 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. I am going to contribute to earth hour and stop global warming because I am curious to start from a new beginning. I believe doing this small thing I can make a little change to the world. So please participate with me to bring a new change to our world.

Two questions had popped to my mind as I was watching the video, they were:

• Should earth hour happen more often????
• Should it be at law????

My opinion is that earth hour should happen more often and it should be at law because we can absolutely save more energy than usual and when it is at law everyone will have to follow it. We will save a big amount of electricity and stop at least a bit of global warming.
